U-bolt

U-bolt is a bolt in the shape of the letter U with screw threads on both ends.

U-bolts have a wide range of uses, mainly in construction installation, mechanical parts connection, vehicles and ships, bridges, tunnels, railways, etc.

U-shaped bolts are generally used on trucks to stabilize the chassis and frame of the vehicle. For example, leaf springs are connected by U-shaped bolts.

U-bolts are classified by material into carbon steel Q235, Q345 alloy steel, stainless steel 201 304 316, etc.

 

Four elements uniquely define any U-bolt:

1.Material type (for example: bright zinc-plated mild steel)

2.Thread dimensions (for example: M12 * 50 mm)

3.Inside diameter (for example: 50 mm - the distance between the legs)

4.Inside height (for example: 120 mm)
